Thanks man. I appreciate that. Did you recess the bolts from the top down? What size bolts? I know this is a lot but that's exactly what I need and I'm going to HD tomorrow to pick up the sawhorse and hardware and Lowes for the lumber. What thickness is the plywood?
The wood was about 1/2", maybe 3/4", need to check. I used bolts that were just lying around, about 1/2". I actually recessed them too deep but it was my first time using the recess bit so....despite that it was really easy to put together.
Nice setup! FYI Swampratt, similar 3 legged camp stools on sale at Midway for $7.99. Bought 2 this week but doubt if they're as nice BUT they seem sturdy.
It's 7.99, not $6.99 Ordered 2, and an item with free shipping, so came out good. Got them Friday and actually pretty decent for the price. I'm 220 and didn't collapse. Folds up nice with Velcro wrap and small carry bag. Can't go wrong if breaks on 3rd or 4th time used. Says 250 lb limit. I picked up one of those 6 foot tables with folding legs out of a dumpster and replaced the top on it, for a shooting table. I used one of those 3 legged stools that rotated in the middle, which broke in half. it caused me to drop my rifle on the ground.
