I got tiered of all the political rants but I didn't get my panties in a bind until my son-in-law said "anyone who voted for Obama is a idiotic moron" which was directed at my wife. I took that very personal and after my chat with him at 4am this morning he has removed the post and apologized. It's one thing to have different views and I respect both parties but you cross the lines when you get personal. We are all Americans, family and friends and respect is given as much as demanded.

I respectfully disagree. There are some who can demand respect from me all they want and they aren't getting so much as a sliver of it.

the president cant impose laws or levy taxes and even if he could... as far as I know he was elected (hence being your representative) and didnt stage a coup or born into the office of president. He may make decisions you dont like, but he is your representative.

oh like imposing laws on the populace with out representation via exc. order such as amnesty. etc

over burdening industry with unfair taxation via the EPA and other agencies such as what the king did to tabacco farmers , I'm sure there are some coal miners that wouldn't mind throwing a little tea in the harbor

I can agree and in this situation if respect is given but not received then you are no longer involved in my life which is what I was leaning toward with my statement.

I unfriended everybody a while back. I quit facebook. Got tired of hearing about. I am having a bad day. The traffic is terrible. I feel bad. My feet stink. Little sweet banners with quotes on them. Game requests. Ect, Ect, Ect. Plus the founder of Facebook is a --well. I guess that would not be nice to say it.

I unplugged months ago and the only person to actually say anything to me was my sister. It was nice to see old friends and military buddies but I find I have much more time to spend on other things now that the FB is gone in my life.

I think I have something like 40 friends. I noticed that number went down by 4 this morning after I let loose how I really feel about obama voters.
