I don't want Americans dying over Ukraine, but I don't think Pooty-poot wants an open war with the US or NATO, so I doubt that he'd go beyond Ukraine, at least for now. I don't think there's any doubt that the Russians are heavily engaged in information warfare with us, so why shouldn't we have Green Berets making their conquest of Ukraine as costly as possible for them? Are you worried about a Gulf of Tonkin-style incident that drags us directly into open conflict?

Thats my concern. The US is not innocent of doing that many times during it's history.

With all that is going on around the world, and taking into account the size of the illegal alien population from Central and South America and other places from around the world in this country, I wouldn't be surprised if it is the populating of an advance fifth column to facilitate the takeover of the United States by Mexico and those other third world countries to our south. Some might think I'm being ridiculous, but I don't believe in leaving any stone unturned.

In short, yes.
IMO, the Green Berets are best utilized in prepping indigenous peoples allied to US, to fight a nation state that’s openly opposing our interests with military force.
What specifically are the US interests in play in the Ukraine? Obama already let Putin take Crimea after his re-election (lest we forget his off the record “more flexibility” conversation with Putin). Then one of Biden’s very first acts as POTUS was to clear all the obstacles for Putin’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline into Germany.
In between those two events is a veritable iceberg of US political interference in Ukraine politics, and all the corruption and graft that goes along with it.
Reading the tea leaves has me seeing that our US policy towards Russia v. Ukraine as schizophrenic at best. At worst, it’s utterly corrupt to the core.
So no, I do not believe the US populace should support ANY military intervention in Ukraine. Not even so much as a loss of limb in a training accident is worth what the US has at stake in that fray on the other side of the globe. It is of no strategic value to us and what value lies there is greed, corruption and self-serving back door deals.

Misson objectives may have been changed due to the jackwagons on the Joint Chiefs of staff and their current WOKE attitude to make the military a force to plant daisies in front of opposing forces vs destroying them.
