Once again the press messes up the story - the fuel is going to be made from algae, not seawater. Algae extracted from seawater.

But will it work economically? - I'm a skeptic. Technically feasible on a small scale but on a large enough scale to fuel a sizeable ship??

What if its a fusion reactor??? Seawater can be used to obtain hydrogen.
