Thanks, have you ever tried them mild warm hot???

I buy mild and hot every year. Mild is typically jalapeño or less on heat and the hot can be up to the same heat as a Serrano. Both are incredibly delicious. I roast and freeze them to eat all year long.

When we summered in Colorado for the last 6 years, every little mom and pop grocery store along with the chains in August would have a roaster outside with a line of people behind it waiting to get theirs roasted.
We always bought a case of the mild and a big box of quart sized ziplock to freeze them in some water. Eat them all year.

My stew recipe based on what my wife will eat. Your results may vary. :P :P :P

1lb ground beef
1 onion chopped
3 medium potatoes scrubbed and cut into bite size pieces.
3 Carrots sliced
1 stalk celery chopped
1 bag Bird's eye frozen mixed veggies. The small microwave bags.
3 cups beef broth or bullion
1 can tomato sauce
1 can diced tomatoes
Dash of worcestershire sauce
Dash of Nature's Seasoning (to taste)

Brown the beef and the onions.
Drain and place in slow cooker (you can do it all in a dutch oven or other large pot too.
Add all the veggies, liquids and seasonings.
Simmer 8 to 10 hours. The longer it cooks, the better.

You can add sliced mushrooms or anything else you like, or leave stuff out if you wish.
