KenL, where did you get it? I've always loved 7.62x54r, and didn't know that it was available in an AK action that wasn't a PSL.

Dang! Got mine just in time too. That $500 price hike pays for a lot of 54R surplus. If anybody's interested, Carolina Shooting Supplies (or something close to that) has a lot of great aftermarket stuff for the Vepr.

Thought I'd post up my new toy. I like the AK platform and wanted something that would eat .18 cent a round 7.62x54r ammo. Any other VEPR owners out there?

I'm in love... I must have one! Always wanted something modern chambered in 54r but didn't wanna pay through the teeth for some old PSL. I need to sell some goods and get one of these on the way.
