Were all gun shows at the Fairgrounds just cancelled?

With any luck. HAHA!

I'm with this guy. I may be speaking out of ignorance, but it sure seems like they're more of the problem rather than the solution, meaning helping cause a panic with dealers buying up everyones inventory and charging us for more than what they paid.

Doesn't bother me! It's $12 I don't have to spend in order to be disappointed.

I have always said promoters & vendors at the gun shows will be the death of gun shows.

Trying to charge ridiculous prices. It's like some vendors trying to the make the entire table rent on every sale.

Not to mention, beef jerky, over priced lever action cowboy guns, beanie babies, and a multitude of useless crap that we don't want.

I dunno. All I know is this is from a text from a friend, whose friend said all fairgrounds shows were cancelled. The State Fair operator wasn't aware of anything and neither is the operator for RK. I hope this is nothing but a groundless rumor, but with the way things are, I'm on edge.

No arguing with information this conclusive.

And of course, if the fairgrounds has dumped all the gunshows, those promoters will just limp off into obscurity. WAIT! My Dad has a barn! Not really, but there are other facilities which could host a sizable event, and if all else fails, there are large tents to be had.

For those posters who don't like gunshows, that's beside the point. Like 'em or not, this is about rights.

Seems to me promoters would be squealing like a pig under a gate if this was legit. Be interesting to see how it plays out, though the bolded text above is pretty convincing . . .

I call shenanigans on you Flybeech, you started the thread to stir the pot, you admitted that you called after you started it and the people involved have no knowledge of it and all the promoter's websites have no information or calendar changes to future shows.
