Tried some of the oilfire tonight, it's very sweet. More like a dessert drink, has a strong vanilla taste in the end

This is pretty good. I tried regular Jameson a few years ago (ok, well, MANY years ago) and found it a bit hard to enjoy. I have a friend who has been telling me over and over I need to give it another try - since I've adapted to better stuff and appreciate whiskey and whisky alot more. I like this a lot. Can't really describe it too well, that has always been difficult for me... a good bit sweet, full-bodied, a little smoky - but not in a bad way. I don't like strong strong smoke, it tears up my gut. But this stuff is pretty good, I like it a lot. About $38.

This one is much better, even, in my opinion. Also sweet, not as robust as the Black Barrel, but much, much smoother. This is NOT what I expected from an Irish whiskey at ALL. A splash of water and this is one of the smoothest ones I've had in a quite a while. I'm definitely going to get more of this! And, an even better deal at about $32 (as compared to the Black Barrel).

Actually not too shabby. Fruity/fizzy and sweet.
