I'd sure like to go see ol' Wiilie at Lucky Star on the 14th...but not for $77 a ticket. I saw him at Lloyd Noble back in 1981.

Poor ol' Kris Kristofferson. Helluva song writer...pitiful singer.

If I remember right he came out with a full Chief's headdress on to start the show off. Might of been at another show but I think it was that one.

I don't remember that. I remember his first song was Whiskey River and they unfurled a HUGE Texas flag behind them when they played the first verse. They say he starts every concert that way.

But you may be right. Like I said, I was high as a Georgia pine thanks to the rednecks sitting in front of us blazing up.

Went to REO Speedwagon last night at Lucky Star. Couldn't believe Kevin is 73. Still a good show, although the beat is just a hair slower. Crowd was dead.
