I'm starting to work up my winter reading list. So far, this is what I have in my wishlist on Amazon:

Command Authority - Tom Clancy

Doctor Sleep - Stephen King

Frozen in Time - Mitchell Zuchoff

Lost in Shangri-La - Mitchell Zuchoff

The Forgotten 500 - Gregory Freeman

Re-read Tony Hillerman's books on Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee and their investigations on the Navajo Reservation. Read all of them a few years ago, I know of the areas and even lived in some of the areas he writes about. Good winter reading with a nice fire and a good bourbon.

I have a number of history books, including "Team of Rivals" about Lincoln's Cabinet; a book about WW2 in the Pacific, another about the first six months of WW1; and one or two others which names I forget at the moment.

The only time I get to "read" is when driving, so it's audiobooks for me. My tastes range from Christopher Moore to Clive Cussler.

I think I may spend some time reading biographies about the Founders. I have some Junger, Levin, and Sowell to read, as well. I'm also working on organizing a weekly study group in my community that will study the Constitution by breaking it into parts over a period of several months.

Fire and Ice series by George R R Martin
Started watching "Game of Thrones" when they came out on DVD.

Started reading the first book about a month ago.
The dang books are so big it is going to take me a year to finish them.
Each one is about 1000 pages of small print, glad I got them on E-reader.
So far I am liking the DVD series better but the book is darn good and gives a lot more information that fleshes out the story lines.

I read all that are out and they're amazing. You could probably get away wit not reading the first one, it's almost identical to the first season, after that there's some changes

Outboard repair manual for the most part.

As to relaxing reading - anything Vince Flynn or Patrick McManus and NOTHING of Stephen Barack King. Though a good story tell, I will not support him because of his politics nor allow him to use my money to help advance their socialist agendas.
