I neck turned some .243 cases only 3 as the rest had been done already but I ran them through to see if any growth was at the base of the neck and there was NONE.

I loaded them with 70gr Nosler and 44gr of H4350.
All cases were annealed and mixed head stamp R-P , Winchester and Hornady.
Hornady had very stiff seating pressures.
That will open the groups if I mix those with the other cases.

Then my brain squirreled off as it often does and this heavy barrel 243 with a Thumb hole Boyd stock was in my mind needing the barrel cut to 16.5-18" to tighten that larger group that mixed cases throws at you.
Man I love short barrels.
I must quit with that.

Just soooo easy to shorten one and make it so much less finicky.

Where did I put that hacksaw???

Loaded up 15 rounds of 577-450 MH for the range day. Messed up and put 10 grains too much 2ff black powder in for my carbine load but it worked out just fine. 405 grain pp bullet, 80 grains (instead of my normal 70) 2F black powder. Shot good and recoil wasn't too much more than normal. Did have some extraction issues though but I'm pretty sure it was a gun issue and not ammo.

One thing about little mistakes like that you get to see if the hotter load hits in the same area as the other load.
You will know if you have a good node in that vicinity.

I bought a bunch of 115gr 9MM xtp projectiles from a member here and she labeled the bags wrong as they were 90 gr xtp bullets.
I loaded and tested using 115 gr data and found an excellent load which was quite light but very accurate and sent those 90gr bullets to 1100 fps

Prepping a bunch of .308 cases the last couple days.
Hate the numb hands scenario or I would do more cases.

Deprime--Clean--anneal-- brush necks (nylon brush)-- lube-- full length size-- remove lube with towels and Q tips--trim--chamfer inside and outside of case mouth --cut crimps from primer pockets--brush necks again (nylon brush)--Qtip clean inside necks 1 more time.

Then I get to measure the inside and outside of the necks and sort.

I just did 36 LC-21 .308 cases this morning and all the necks measure exactly the same.
Chamfering the cases you can sure tell the LC vs the AAC or winchester, federal cases.

AAC was very soft if you did not know.
I have not loaded or shot any AAC but have a dozen cases to play with.

Found a small oven at a yard sale for $5, got some harbor freight black powder coat, degreased some big 405gr .458” boolits id pulled some time ago (the lube ring was covered in powder which is why i stripped them). Gave powder coating a try and it went well enough, im sure it would go better with better materials but for a first go i only got invested $12, but i do need a new sizer so that’ll add cost i suppose if i wanted to reload them at all. I have enough 45-70 ammo to…I mean I have no ammo
