Loaded 30 rds of 300 Blackout with Lil’ Gun under 110 gr V-Max. Hoping to hit an accuracy node around 1400 fps and see how it compares to the 300 Ham’r.

Also loaded 30 rds of 130 gr Hot Cor for the 300 Ham’r. Those are supposed to perform very well in that chambering.
Have two 300 BO's, one is set up for 168 gr A-max( my deer hunting load) hits hard and accurate at 1700 fps using 14.7 grn of H110. The other gun is set up for 110 grn V- max with Lil Gun, didn't find the accuracy I was looking for till I hit 2420 fps with 20.1 grns of Lil Gun.
Tried many loads at 14 or 1500 fps, my guns didn't like it. You may have different results.

Thank you for the note. Based on results from previous loads, I started my work up at 20.0 grns going up to the max of 21.0. We will see what works.

Cleaned, sized and de-primed, sorted by head stamp and cleaned primer pockets for some 38 special. I’ll post some pics after I get them loaded.

Question for all that seperate by head stamp; have you tested to see if it matters?

When developing a load, I have seperated by manufacturers, but everyday loads, I don't. I can see it, when shooting competition, but my hunting / plinking / cowboy loads are 1" - 1 1/2" loads and I'm good with that.

The majority of any given caliber will be the same head stamp, but range pickup brass slowly diluted the stash. Over 50 years of loading, I haven't seen enough difference to worry about it. I don't load to max loads, finding an accurate node typically around 2 - 5% below max, in rifle rounds. Most handgun loads are on the lighter side. Heavy / max / hunting loads, I load in nickel brass, more of easy identity than separating head stamps.

My OCD doesn't get torqued over it. Is really s big deal or just how you taught?

On 38 and 45acp, I “mostly” use mixed headstamps except I don’t mix up my starline 38 brass.
On rifles, I only use certain brands of brass for certain calibers with absolutely no mixing.

I did a test one time mixing head stamps on .223 I think there was 12 or more different ones.
Some had very little case volume and the powder would be in the neck where others would be well below the neck.

There were 2 really off ones and I reduced the load to below the neck.
Accuracy was like you said 1.5" at 100 yards.
If I only shoot one head stamp usually tested many to find a favorite. The rifle would shoot 1/2" or better groups at 100 yards.
For plinking mixed is fine but for putting meat on the table I only use my best ammo.
