Gun sales at an all time high. Most headlines read it's because of people fearing the re-election of Obama.

How in the hell did we hit this point in history? How did we ever allow our country and freedoms to get lost so fast?
Why does the average american feel the need to have a gun not only for protecting his life against criminals but against our own government?

Is this the hope and change we wanted?

Most people are just waking up to what has been slowly happening the past 30-40 years behind our backs. Working, family, Monday night football, dancing with the stars, and a few lame news stories when we have time without seeing what has really been happening in the background. It is not new, it is just accelerating at a rapid rate because most of us have not been paying attention. Watch FOX, believe only 1/4 if you wish, listen to the talkers, Limbaugh, Hanady, Beck, and the likes. If only 1/4 is true, you can get an idea where we are and where we are heading. Then switch back to CNN, CNBC,ABC,CBS and look at their take on the same item, if they even mention it. Will Romney be any better? Only time will tell, I can only hope he can slow the process.

Ask Jefferson. This isn't a new sentiment; the 2nd Amendment is there for a reason - and it's not for "sporting purposes".

I'm buying more guns & ammo for five reasons.
1. There were these terrible boating accidents...........................................
2. I like guns and shooting.
3. I have more disposable income than I used too.
4. There are some interesting new configurations.
5. My flame thrower is hard to conceal.

I believe a few other Presidents over the years have also eluded to the government tryin to become too powerful & warning the American people against it. Funny they saw this coming that long ago & people still somehow allowed it to happen.

Look at your rights and freedoms as what would be required to survive and be free as if there were no government. Governments come and go, but your rights live on. If you wish to survive government, you must protect with jealous resolve all the powers that come with your rights - especially with the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Without the power of those arms, you will perish with that government - or at its hand. B.E. Wood
