The Hopkins & Allen Arms Co., Model 922 Junior, falling-block, I need to find a rear sight.
Interarms, Model 22 ATD (Chinese copy of Remington Model 24/241), semi-auto. Id had a jones for the Remington ever since the father of a high-school girl-friend used one to chase me back out her bedroom window; but I settled for the knockoff (the rifle not the girl-friend).
Ithaca Gun Co. Inc., Model 72 Saddlegun, lever action, made in West Germany, has a very sweet trigger.
Remington Arms Co. Inc., Model 572 Fieldmaster, pump action, floating chamber handles S, L, and LR.
J. Stevens Arms Company, Model 14 ½, Little Scout, rolling-block, boys rifle.
J. Stevens Arms Company, Model .22-.410, over/under combo gun, I still need to get a couple of parts from Numrich to get the firing pin selector working properly.
Check it: Just snagged a Magnum Research Magnumlite rifle with the uni-directional CF bbl from the 20% off rack at H&H - it has a brown laminated wood skeletonized stock - pretty sweet - can't wait to shoot it. Oh yeah, caliber is .22 magnum. Slapped a cheapie Mueller scope on it for now. Interested in pic?
EDIT: Update - I just picked out the perfect scope for a match made in heaven for this rifle, I think: The Sightron SII Big Sky 4.5-14x50mm with NO A.O / S.F!
Only 15.2 oz, it's a light scope for a light rifle - a real versatile field and range rig both. But the Elite 6500 2.5-16x50mm and a couple of Vortex and Elite 3200s look good too. And one Nikon Monarch.
Was thinking of the Accupoint 5-20x50, but that dadgummed thing is 27 oz! The SIIIs and the upper Vortexes are too heavy as well!
Anything else I should consider? I'm looking for under $750, very lightweight, very high quality, no AO or SF, excellent eye relief, highest magnif possible up to 6-20 or 6-24, and a 50 or 56mm objective (this rifle has a lot of room down to the barrel even with extra low rings).
This one is a possibility, too, on the lower price end, but it's got a side focus - fine for the range, but this one is for critters and range both:
