What you have there looks to be a Beretta M1934, it was the main service pistol of the Italian armed forces and was also used by some military units in Germany, Romania and Finland...

My FIL brought a Beretta 1934 back in WWII. His bring back papers listed 2 pistols. The other being a P-35. He gave that one away to a buddy who didn’t have a souvenir. That would have been a nice one to inherit.
