I love my sprinfield xd!! I really really love Smith Revolvers. The 547 is out of this world, but i have always loved the Highway Patrol model (28-2). The Kimber Eclipse gets my vote though.

Since we're talking Holy Grail handguns, I'd go with a Semmerling LM4. These were $6-700 (if you could find one) back in 1980, or so. So few were made, there's no telling what one would set you back today, if any are even available. It was a cool and weird pistol.
