Funny - you have no idea on barrel length and such that could influence your numbers above.

The info was for the folks pondering which route to go, a comparison of sorts. I could care less what persons ultimately do, but try to give food for thought when they ask for opinions.

Side note, how does Lake City .308 brass do for reloading as .260REM?

I presently use Winchester 7mm-08 and neck it down.
When I try to neck 308 brass down it has this tight catch the first time I shoot it thru my 260.
After that it is fine.
Have never tried Lake City brass specifically, always use Lapua or Winchester.
About 10 years ago I bought some Remington 260 brass but it was total crap.
Maybe they are better these days, but I got burned so don't care to waste my money to find out.
