For the last 7-8 years I have carried a Benchmade mchenry&williams model 705, I have ran over it with a 10k pound truck, lost it, found it, sent back to benchmade twice and it keeps on doing what I need it to do.
A benchmade and 2 gerbers. I carry that gerber on the right the most. I bought it for its diminutive size and light weight.
The blue one was left at my work by a customer years ago. It's my backup when I misplace the first.
The benchmade is my favorite, but it is to to carry and still have a usable pocket on most of my jeans.
This thread has me pondering a new folder or even better a fixed blade worn horizontally on my belt about 11oclock.
for those of you who carry fixed How/where do you keep it?
I carry my Izula II vertical at 8:00ish in it's Kydex sheath/clip. Covers with anything untucked.

for those of you who carry fixed How/where do you keep it?
i pocket carry mine. the izula with a clip, the esee 3 just tethered to my belt with paracord and a cord lock, and dropped in. it's pretty low profile, and quick access.

I was issued on of those on a deployment, and no one ever asked for it back. After carrying a few years I forgot I had it on me & tried to enter the aquarium in D.C., guard confiscated it & threatened to call a real cop because it was a switchblade. I hate knowing that ******* is prob still carrying it.
