What rifle will you be using this fall for deer?

I plan on using 5.56/.223 AR that I just finished, only thing I need now is a scope. Any ideas on a good deer hunting scope to put on an AR?

My tried and true cheap Walmart special Remington 710, 30.06.
Have harvested many quality deer with it for 7 seasons from 20 yards to 300 yards.
No need to waste money on a rifle that is only used two weeks of the year.
It is more about the marksman than the rifle.

Definately not a .243, it is chambered in .300 Win Mag, and it will wear the cylindrical hood ornament most of the time. But, it and the .243 will share the same hood ornament as necessary.
