What rifle will you be using this fall for deer?

If I decide to take the rifle out, it will probably be my Rem 700 30-06. I plan on doing most of my work this year with the bow, black powder and a Ruger SBHH in .44mag.

I'll be carrying the old Remington 788 in .308, its old, it was cheap, but man that gun is accurate and easy to carry.

Will be using both my Win 70 30-06 in stainless steel and my Remington 788 in 7m-08 carbine. I prefer my 788 if the weather is not wet.

Pro Hunter in .270. Camo and Stainless. I will be using this gun for antelope as well.

Armalite AR 10 for stalking, Remy 700 in .270 sighted in @ 200yds for yonder deer, Traditions Lightning Bolt .50 ML, and a PSE Whitetail Extreme for stick shootin. Wife likes her M77 in .243.

Most definitely the Rem 700 in 300 win mag. I dont like to chase my deer and I am surgical with it so hell all I have to do is load it and debone it.

Probably the old faithful .270 Rem 700. I've had it for 37 yrs and it has taken a lot of game for me.

I've got two new ones that need to draw blood this year. Both of them are AR's. One in 6.8 SPC and the other in 6.5 Grendel. I built both of them.

Probably a Whitworth .375 H&H magnum to celebrate that cartridge's hundred year anniversary. These medium bore guns make a hole that's larger, but do not tear up as much meat as some smaller, faster cartridges.

Otherwise, probably my Frankenstein's 7mm-08 with the 700 matte receiver, stainless barrel, and hogue overmoulded stock. Great little rifle.

And, will probably continue my tradition of not killing a deer with a bow . . .
