We've got a new gateway computer and when you first turn it on you have to log on with your password or you can log on as a guest. Well, it no longer recognizes the password but you can still log on as a guest but all of the features are not available. I would like to reset the password to something different and see if that works but apparently you cannot do that logged on as a guest. I'm open to suggestions. Please do not tell me that maybe I misspelled it or something else idiotic like that, I have tried it 100 different ways. No luck.

Did you ever get this sorted out? I've used Trinity Rescue a handful of times to reset forgotten passwords. Haven't tried it on Windows 7, so don't know if that'd work for you.

I used LophtCrack to audit my domain passwords in a previous life. It'd crack me up (no pun..) because about 80% of the passwords would be available within 3 seconds. All but mine, the admin and some service account passwords were given up within three minutes... Complex passwords? Yeah....
