I'm with jakerz, there ... GC has a Colt AR that is is duty weapon. I already have the money put back to buy it from the department when he retires. It is a sweet shooting gun. Fits me perfectly ... I love it.

All my life, I wanted a Winchester Model 63 .22 lr. They were always out of my reach.

I also have a thing for Swedish Mauser Model 94's. Cool little rifle; seriously accurate; one of the best rounds in the world. And, also out of my reach.

Or, at least, so my wife says.

Interesting you should pick that carbine as your favorite. I've had one in my safe a couple years now but have yet to shoot it

Right now, I'd say my fave rifle to shoot would be a Remington M1903A4. It's a gas with that tiny 2.5X scope :thumb:

20130914_100613.jpgMy favorite rifle would be a 1963 Browning Safari Grade BBR jeweled bolt and pretty wood in 30.06 topped with a Leupold 3x9x40. It likes Sierra 150 Spitzers loaded with 59.0 IMR 4350 5 shot .75 - 1.0 groups with a MV of 2836 fps. It doesn't get shot much anymore but it is my fav. Bar None

You're making me very jealous. I wish I hadn't even brought it up. You need to go shoot that thing.

I know, I need to dust off my RCBS press and learn how to reload so I can crank out some 6.5x55 ammo and put some rounds through my Swedes. I've got some surplus Prickskytte, but am reluctant to use it up since it's just not available anymore.

Just wait till Flatwins sees this thread :wink2:
