This is a thread for you to go crazy with,,,
Not crazy like in hijacking it for other purposes,,,
But go crazy in the fantasy that you can afford the gun and to feed it.

Mine would be the FN-P90.

H&H used to have a full-auto one in their rental stable,,,
For 3 (maybe 4) years in a row I rented one,,,
And purchased 200 rounds to shoot.

This was my annual birthday present to myself.

Anyways, back to the P-90.

I've read articles that describe it as the perfect Personal Defense Weapon (PDW),,,
To tell the truth I find it impossible for me to disagree with them.

Small in size,,,
50 round mags,,,
A small but "zippy" cartridge,,,
No magazine protruding below the rifle,,,
And I do love the fact that it ejects towards the bottom.

It's relatively small when compared to other carbines of it's ilk,,,
But I found the ergonomics of the thing to be ideal for me,,,
When I raised it to my shoulder everything fell into place.

Even on full auto it was not difficult to keep it on target.

I first saw the rifle on the Sci-Fi series, Stargate Atlantis,,,
At first I thought it was just some kind of mocked-up prop gun,,,
But I finally did a search and found out that it was a real life fiery-arm.

It was my internet search that had me stumble upon H&H's rental list,,,
People that have never fired a full-auto rifle have no idea,,,
Just how fast one can blow through 200 rounds.

Anyways, I fell in love with the little thing,,,
And even though I could afford one without too much pain,,,
I could never afford to feed the thing enough to make it a worthwhile purchase.

But Dang!

The urge to own one was very tempting.

H&H doesn't have the P-90 on their rental list anymore,,,
Which is probably a good thing now that I'm retired on a fixed income.

I'll just have to be satisfied with my little CZ-512 Carbine,,,
And a 25 round magazine for blasting "Wraith".

I knew two guys thru the years with American 180s. First guy I just ran into at a pond I would go fishing at. Second guy let me fire it once. Fun but I would have to have to feed it. Even 22 gets expensive when it is fun to shoot.

I started this thread but ignored it for a while,,,
So resurrecting it is my prerogative.

I liked the 3-barreled drilling and the 4-barreled rifle/shotgun combo,,,
But I did own a drilling in my youth,,,
2-20 gauge with one 9.3x74.

Sadly my kid brothers ruined it's probable collectability value,,,
They played "war" with it when I was in the service.

In the late 80's when times were rough for me,,,
I peddled it for $350.00 to make a house payment.

I'm paring my fiery-arm count down to a practical minimum,,,
My plan, which is working, is to only keep what I shoot,,,
So I'm down from over 20 rifles to 8 rifles.

If all goes to plan I'll have it down to just 5 pretty soon.

Dream scenario?

One of Papa Hemingway’s double rifles utilized in safari

Probably like to shoot it once then hang above the fireplace

Then —. The Thompson he used on the Pilar
