What's your favorite rifle?

Sweet! what kind of noise levels do you get out of them w/standard ammo?

The .223 and 9mm both sound pretty much like a .22lr with standard ammo. The 9mm is very quiet with 147 grain subsonic ammo.

My Remington 700 SS Milspec 5R that I have not got to buy a scope or ammo for. Heck I haven't even squeezed the trigger. Oh wait..now I have, breaks like candy glass.

My Enfield No.4 MKII

I love the history of the Enfield, I love the looks of the rifle, I really like older bolt guns, and I like the fact that I can shoot it straighter (w/ steel sights) than anything else I own.

I would say my favorite rifle is my Mosin Nagant M38. What a fun rifle to shoot, especially for the price I paid for it.

Southern long rifles have always been my favorite,art like beauty simplicity in form and function. I let my let my .36 get away and I miss her badly.
But there is a new pile of parts slowly growing on my work bench.
I'll post pics when she's finished.
