Where can I get good fried chicken

Might be a good spot for a weekday OSA meetup next time. Service and food is pretty quick at lunch time.

I eat at eischens every time I’m in the area. Probably some of the best fried chicken in the state. There was a little convenience store on the corner of NE 36th and hiwassee that made the best fried chicken and fried pork chops I’ve ever eaten, but it wasn’t exactly a safe place to go grab some food as a white guy. They’ve been closed for several year now, sadly.

eischens is pretty good but Half Time on newcastle rd is better but service can be spotty. the Drum room was good if it's still there

I've been told that Eischen's is the best thing ever and I've been told that it's meh to meh-minus. I never order fried chicken when I'm eating out, so all i can do is muddy the waters.

We had Jims Chicken in Nicoma Park for about 50 years. It was a sad day when Jim retired and sold.

My vote is for Eischen’s as well, but I know that it can get very busy on the weekends. During the week, it’s pretty quick service for the most part.

Did you eat at Half Time or the Drum Room? I haven’t tried Half Time, but the Drum Room was good. It’s been several years since I ate there.
