I had a blast today hope to exterminate some more tomorrow. I know a gentlemen who offers reasonable guided hunts. Pm me for info if anyone is still looking. In boise city area. Lots of uneducated dogs which equals good clean fun.

It's a bit of a drive but I worked in Amarillo last year and any farmer or rancher we asked welcomed us. They had plenty. Lots of fun. Take more than one rifle and plenty of ammo.
I see this post is from 2013 and now 2022. I'm looking for a great place to go shoot P Dogs on prefer private lands as I live in AZ and really hate to buy hunting license for a few days of shooting. Like I did for Colorado was $85. and the dogs were few for a 1,000 drive.
If any one knows of a place I can go or even wants to buddy up, I'm all in for it as I'm retired and love to shoot. Whether it be Trap, Metal Silhouette, or P Dogs! Hit me up [email protected]

Call the game rangers in Cimarron, Texas and Beaver counties and ask them if they know of land owners who want them gone.

In Texas County, there are more prairie dogs than people. As said here before, most farmers will be more than happy to let you shoot them. However, they are small-ish and if you are a new hunter, you're going to have a bad day. I shoot them with rimfire out to 450 yards, they are skittish and have been shot at before. I use a .223 for farther than that. Good luck.
