+1. A little more than $1k is a bit too much for either pistol. For the price I would get a new Kimber Super Carry Pro. Or you can probably find a used Baer commanche if you are only looking for commander size.

Don't get in a hurry and you can find a used upper end 1911 close for what you want to spend. I purchased a Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special LNIB with three mags and all paper work for $1325 @ the recent Wannemacher. They are out there.

Fusion is not building quality. They are literally throwing guns together and asking custom prices. Several horror stories have been posted on the net. They are mostly rebadged STI parts anyways so you're better off just buying an STI.
