I like the 9-13" I tried the 6-9 just too low for me to get behind comfortably. 9" works off the bench and I usually go to 13" for prone but that is just me. To swivel or not? I don't know I have one of both I haven't used the swivel yet but if you do need it, then it makes all the difference in the world. If you get a swivel get a pod lock otherwise you just never can seem to get the lock nut down tight enough to prevent movement.

I think the Harris is best bang for the buck. This is a GREAT price...and it's even in stock!!
Get the Harris swivel bench rest model with leg notches from weaponparts.com for $79.99 - thats about the cheapest you'll find it anywhere (they are good people to deal with). Also, you'll need a quad rail adapter too.
