Which S&W .357 revolver would you choose?

I'd take a model 19 4 inch

to correct the poll all 6 series guns are stainless and 5 series guns are blue.

I have a 586,686,624,36,19 and 29. I love my smiths they shoot well and unlike the colts (even though I love my diamondback and big daddy p) are more customizable to my needs.

I would go with the 586 DCM bad to the bone gun, and the full under lug doesnt beat you up with full power .357 mag loads.

Most aftermarket grip makers refer to this style of grip as a Boot grip.

depending on use, i have 686's in 3 21/2, and 4 inch . one or duty carry, one for conceled off duty carry. really tjho i prefer the stainless model 629 in 3 1/2 and 4 inch magnum for oyh. bes stopping power tha i have found.

Personally, I'd go with the L-frame. Either a 586 or 686. It is not that much heavier but it is somewhat stronger.
