I have the factory silicone band on mine. It’s comfortable enough and sits the watch on my wrist perfectly
This one of mine is old enough it came with the "plastic" band such as common in the 1960s/1970s and maybe later, and if they have improved the band, then it's even better a deal....but, I generally gravitate to smoother finish nylon to avoid cold/hot metal, and for breathability when sweating or wet, have spent entire working life outdoors and quite sensitive to such after getting metal shavings trapped under sweaty rubber and etc...but the Casio is a stainless cased, screw down crown, screw backed, mineral glassed, $50 watch that folk actually use for diving, and nobody I know could spot the difference on my arm between it and my Seikos as for quality...it is a damned good watch.

Not exactly pimping my best time piece following Adam, but working under nasty greasy equipment trying to find an electrical gremlan isn’t easy on me or watches so the $5View attachment 522496View attachment 522497 Wally World Casio will have to due.
I put on a watch and it stays on except for showers, 24/7, and am lucky to remember to take it off when I might screw it up, much less remember to put on a cheaper watch while working on stuff, and by the time I remember, hands are too filthy to want to touch a watch. Plastic is a good idea around electrics while doing a smoke check, or, at least, a fabric strap, as I once saw a guy short a battery with his bracelet, and never saw a guy take off and throw a watch 50yds so fast as when that watch went from silver to red near instantly. For anyone wanting to know the meaning of "smoke check", it's when you first power up the system and you check for smoke leaks, because everybody knows if you let the smoke out, it doesn't work anymore.
