Word on the street is he's on the hunt for a Canik 55 TP9? I think that is the right model.
Depending on how much he wants to spend, either a S&W or Colt wheelgun or a single-shot rifle. I'm thinking something like a Remington Rolling Block in .223 or .308, a BSA Cadet, or maybe a Stevens Favorite if he's on a tight budget. On second thought, I'd add the older Winchester .22 rifles (either a 62 or 63) to the list.
