I thought so too. I was told by the Sheriffs office that it would take 60 days when I submitted all of my paperwork. I was surprised to see my letter in the mail today.

I turned in my paperwork on March 19, got my letter today and went and picked it up. Permit was issued on April 15.

I picked mine up last week and yet to recieve my letter.

Man that is definitely fast. Under a month! I'll start calling the end of next week, that'll be a solid 30 days.

Really boils down to how many they have in process.
If they get a bunch it take's longer.
When the count is low the time is shorter.

It's been in the 4-6 weeks range for a while now.
If you're lucky you fall in a slow time slot.
Not so lucky it can take 6-12 weeks.

I applied for mine on MAR 8 in OKC. Called the Sherriff's Office last night - still no word.

Lady at Oklahoma County Sheriff just told me it's taking the full 90 days. Maybe they are just tired of me calling every 4 or 5 days

Taking my class on Sunday with carry legal. Very excited, going to wait to file for my license until after I move to Oklahoma County at the end of May.
