Who all is waiting for their CCW?

Turned my application in today. Did mine in Guthrie (Logan Co) and the fingerprint machine did not like me. I'm seriously expecting to get a letter saying that I need to go back and re-print.

37 days later "that" letter arrives... Guess I go to the back of the bus all over again once I re-print. Sigh......

I hate to tell you this, but my prints were rejected twice for both my Carry Permit and my Instructors License. After two rejections, you can go to OSBI and they will do them there and you are good to go then.

Hope your second time around works for you.

well, submitted Dec 16th, and the OSBI just charged my credit card, so hopefully since they have my money, they're working on it, right? right? *crickets*

I have a bad feeling my fingerprints are going to get rejected, since my pinky fingers barely fit in the whole hand box...

Submitted December 15th, and still hasn't hit my credit card. I will be slightly concerned if it doesn't hit early next week.

Yeah with all of the holidays going on... it was probably delayed. Expect it to be hit any day now... if not within a week, give 'em a call & see what's up.

That's what I was thinking I should probably do. Worried me that someone said they submitted theirs the day after me, but it hit their card last week.

Could be a simple issue of not being able to read the CC/debit #, etc as well. Who knows. They'll take your money whether you're given a CCW permit or not, so it's definitely NOT a situation where you should be worried about a background check, or anything of that nature.

Went to downtown OKC this time hoping for better results from a different machine, but this machine didn't like me either. The girl showed me on my prints why I was having such a hard time, she said they are just worn out and won't print clearly. Too much manual labor I guess? I'm sure I'll get another rejection, but OSBI is only a few minutes from where I work. I hope this next letter doesn't take another month to get here...
