It is strange that they want information of which they have access too. I'm glad I went ahead and sent in a copy of my records I got from the Police Station (for a dollar) and sent it in with my paperwork. I just wanted to let you know, or remind you, to sign and date every page of what you send in, or you may get it back asking for signatures. Don't take any chances on any more delays. Good luck. BTW, I got my permit from the Sheriffs office a week before I got a letter from OSBI saying it was approved, lol.

Thanks for the reminder.... I probably would have forgot all about that. Did you write up any kind of explanation to go with your paper from the PD or just send the report? Seems kinda redundant to just send back a report I got from them in the first place.....but I will definitely play the game.

Yes, I gave detailed explanations for everything I said "Yes" too. I tried to be as "Up Front" as I could be, and I actually felt I would be turned down.

Seems that the average wait time is between 53 days to 63 days. Why does this take them so long? Seems that OSBI is taking thier time processing these permit.

Used to take a full 90 days. Be grateful lol.

The scars on your fingers are part of your finger prints. You may have to end up at OSBI after submitting them twice from the Sheriff's office, but you need to get the process started. As they say, Just Do It.
