Well I emailed the folks at the OSBI yesterday to inquire of the status of my application. This morning I got a reply that I would be receiving a certified letter within the next two weeks. Everyone I have talked to said they have only seen one reason the OSBI sends you a certified letter, when your denied..... Guess I'll just wait and see.

I'm at 49-days and counting. Everytime I read another news story about someone else getting mugged/robbed etc it makes me very impatient. Case in point - Ohio guy at gas station.

Day 52. It occurred to me last week that mine may end up taking longer than average because they'd have to get copies of a dismissed and expunged case in Payne County from several years ago. Can anyone with funky things in their background confirm that theory?
Day 54. Picked up permit. Still no sign of letter.
Did you just call and ask if it had arrived?

Yeah. I'd been calling them and asking every couple of days, which they actually encouraged in Oklahoma County.
