Submitted my paperwork on Monday, July 11. Received my letter the Tuesday after Labor Day,.... Tuesday Sept. 5th. I believe that makes 56 days. Not too bad for Tulsa County.
Submitted my OK paperwork to the Comanche County Sheriff's office three weeks ago today. When should I start calling the OSBI asking for updates?
You have a ways to go my friend. Wait another 4 weeks and then call.
I found that my waiting time was perfect to get my carry routine together. I went to the range a lot, ordered a couple of holsters, practiced walking around the house, drawing and firing with snap caps, etc. The drawing practice was really good for me. My range is the "bowling alley" type and you cannot draw and fire. Use this time well and you'll be way ahead when it's time to pick up your license.
