74 days on a renewal, and I've had one since the second month they were legal. This is getting to be a joke.

So much for sending them in early, sounds like I won't get my renewal till after mine expires in September. They've charged my card already but sounds like that doesn't mean a thing.

This is borderline ridiculous, this is something thats very easy to do. This should be farmed out to the private sector to work with osbi and i bet it wouldn't take 100+ days.

Well I think just like the open carry issue before it was voted on, the more they hear from us and WE speak up, the more it will be on their mind. Squeaky will gets the grease. Maybe in their next staff/budget meeting, it will be on their minds that a bunch of people have been calling inquiring why it is taking so long vs turning in the app and everyone sitting on their hands until it arrives.

What things do you work on at the office? the one your boss keeps harping on you about or the one that he/she says needs to get done and kinda goes in the back of your mind? Thats my thinking anyways.

Well I just had to see. I fired off a email to OSBI last night about 540pm, I got a response about 1015am this morning. If anything I give them credit for responding to emails. I turned my application into Tulsa County on 04/03/2012 and here is the response I got back.

"Your application should be completed sometime within the next two to three weeks."

So they are estimating it will take 106-113 total days? Thats nuts.

I'm on day 88 since turning it into OKSO, 72 since OSBI got it.

Sent an email off about mine as well. They actually called me instead of emailing, which was kind of nice, and said that mine will be completed in July sometime. I sent it in on 4/7 and they got on 04/23.

She didn't shy away from the fact that they are way behind in processing them and haven't always been able to meet the required deadline. She told me they are all taking about 90 days right now.
