I dropped my application off at the TCSO on 3/21 and picked up my permit today 7/3, 104 days.

Thats crazy.

We pay $100 or more to get a license in 3-4 months.

Wisconsin pays about $50 to get a license in 2-3 weeks.....

My gf got hers yesterday - 109 days with clean record. Ridiculous.

I picked mine up yesterday. The OSBI received my application on 4/23/12. 71 Days and I have an absolutely clean record and my fingerprints were perfect. If you count from when I dropped off at the Sheriffs office, 78 days total. Not too bad. Not sure why mine was quicker than some others, but hey, glad to be legally packin heat. The wait absolutely sucked, not sure if this message board help me keep sane or drove me more crazy. Feels good though.....

Proud to say my wife just submitted her app on Monday (7/2). The lady that fingerprinted her told her OSBI is running about 120 days right now.

I did mine about 12 years ago - before it was so popular.

I should get 1/2 my money back if they fail to meet the deadline.

What they will do is change it from 90 days to something like 120 with the 30 day grace period. Part of my reason for going with the 10 year option to avoid going thru this as soon.
