Who all is waiting for their CCW?

Apparently mine came back inside of 2 months. I didn't know it was in, but I asked my wife about it the other day and she said she got it in the mail a month or 2 back. I sent it in very late March and it looks like it arrived late April or early June. I guess that security clearance that I half-ranted about earlier on may have helped speed things up. There just might be reason built into the system after all.

No agency involved in the processing of carry permits cares about your security clearance.

I got mine today. 67 days with OSBI and 10 with Ok county for a total of 77. Granted its a bit over the 60 days they have, but when I called on Monday afternoon the gentleman I spoke too said he would get on it right away and get it out this week. I was approved Wed. Postmarked Thrs. Honestly I was worried I was getting lip service and wouldn't see my card for a few more weeks.

Submitted everything to Payne Co. Sheriff on 4/11/13. OSBI received it 4/30 (guess they're a lil' slow in Stilly lol). Just got a reply yesterday to my inquiry that my application was approved on 7/9 and I should get it within a week or two. So 69 days with OSBI from reception to approval. Judging by the responses here, I'm hopeful that it comes within the next couple of days.

Should have waited an hour to post ... license actually was in today's mail! lol

It took 93 days total from the time I submitted application to sheriff's office to receiving license in the mail.
It took OSBI 74 days to approve and get it to me.

It's been 73 days since TCSD got my application, I'm hoping this week but time will tell!

Email stated approved yesterday. 57 days from the day OSBI charged credit cards. Kind of fast but i had many times OSBI background check for my other professional licensing in the past.

doing 10 years will not have to wait again for that long in 5 years. They should offer lifetime license as in hunting and fishing. Lets suggest that on next election. lol

Got it today. Turned in Sheriff office on 5/9. OSBI charge credit card on 5/17. Emailed them on 7/3 and responsed as still in process. Called and leave message on 7/10 to check on status but never got response from them. It was approved/issdued 0n 07/12. Emailed and responsed on 07/15 staed it has been approved and wait for mail. Got it today 07/17 No too bad waiting time now.
