Who all is waiting for their CCW?

Received my letter on Saturday 7/18/09 one hundred and eight days in the system. I emailed OSBI about three weeks ago
for a status check, and they emailed me back asking about a dwi that I had back in 87 and if I had any paper work that I could send them.
I couldn't remember the date when it happened and the local PD where it happened couldn't find any record of it, "go figure"
So I emailed them back with that info and they said Thanks.
So to day I went to sheriff office and pick up my permit.

I never received a notice from the OSBI, but at day 99 I called the SO and they had my card. When I picked it up, it was dated 3 1/2 weeks earlier. I would suggest that at about 80 days or so, start calling the SO once a week.

93 days, called CCSO and they gave me the # to OSBI. Called OSBI and got a full voicemail box and then hung up. Called back to OSBI and pressed zero, got a nice lady to listen to my problem and her solution was to hurry and transfer me back to the full voicemail box. Hence, still waiting....

I just called the Sheriff and they said it was there!!! Almost 6 months of waiting. I'm sure they will be glad I'm not calling twice a week anymore. Now I can finally try my Walmart walk!

It's finally here!! 97 days after first set of fingerprints and 80 days after second set. Still haven't received the letter from the OSBI, but thank you to the lady at the local sheriff's dept. for calling so promptly and letting me know it was in. Needless to say I was there picking it up less than an hour later

I submitted everything on 3/25/09. Its been 123 days since then, and 96 days since the payment cleared the OSBI. I had to get my prints retaken so its been only 69 days since I had them retaken though.

I received an email from the OSBI a few days ago saying that they had completed the application and that I should be receiving a letter within 14 days. Maybe its time I start calling the sheriffs office and making myself a small annoyance over there?
