Who all is waiting for their CCW?

My card was charged yesterday about a week after i submitted it at the sheriff's office.

i paid a few days ago with a money order, they said anywhere from 2-4months :/

85 days for my renewal. Arrived three days before the old one expired.

The 90 days starts when the OSBI accepts your fingerprints, that is the day they charge your card. Call and check with your sheriff about 70-75 days later. They will usually have it for a week or two before you get the letter from OSBI.

Well the 90 days has came and went... we are just waiting for a letter! I might try to call the SO later this week.

A little update to give you "still waiting" folks an idea current time table for the letters, I picked up my permit two fridays ago, and got my letter in the mail today telling me I was approved and could go pick it up...

you know the 90 days starts when the sheriff turn it to the osbi right. Mine took 102 days in canadian county. Got the letter about 2 weeks after that.

Our 90 days from turning it in was on Monday... the 90 days from our CC being charged will be on the 30th... so I guess we are in the "ambiguous" time period. I will still try to call the SO anyway.

7/29/2009 Completed application and prints at Cleveland County Sheriff
8/6/2009 Application received by and VISA charged by OSBI
10/8/2009 Card received by Cleveland County. They called but I don't have a VM
10/20/2009 Received OSBI letter in mail
10/21/2009 Picked up license

Total from application to when I could have picked it up was 71 days. Of course, my not having an answering machine increased it to 84.

They must be catching up.

Wow! Since I saw your post (I applied on the same day as you) I decided to call the Cleveland Co SD and mine is in too! Haven't received the letter yet, but going to pick it up today.
