Who is Gary Johnson?

I saw this question several times in the "Which canidate has YOUR best intrest?" topic. I think a surprising amount of people had Gary as their top pick, no one more surprised than the people taking the quiz that didn't know who he was. Just thought I would post up a link to this petition to include the Libertarian candidate in the Presidential debates. Oklahoma, unfortunately, does not have him on the ballot, but it would be nice to hear what he has to say.
