Sure is a better world today, ain't it?
Same world, same world.
Take a snap-shot of 1967. Armed men assembled in protest talking about revolution as a last resort.

Take a picture of 2013. Armed men assembled in protest talking about...

Well, but the one group is so menacing, dressed all in black.
The other group is comprised of prosperous pot-bellied men in dockers, and izods, and boat shoes.

One of these groups is scarier than the other, and gun rights are contingent on fear.
Same world.

No, they stood up against bigotry and blatant police brutality for the most part. Just like with every group of people there might be a few bad apples.

I was taught to submit to law enforcement and then I'd have my day in court. I was just kid when this was happening though.

They stood up for bigotry as well, and still do. Like all extrmists group, they only stood for those like them and wouldn't mind seeing everyone else destroyed.

They weren't breaking the law. They were legally armed citizens of the United States.
The law was changed because they were exercizing their rights.
Should we change the law every time someone's nerves get racked?
Because I really don't think that you want to say that around here.
