who uses a decoy?

Are none of you worried about using a decoy during rifle season? I don't want any extra reason for someone to shoot toward me

Well, it wasn't without concern that I hunted with the decoy, but 1) it was private land where my car could be seen from the road and the decoy could not be seen from the road and 2) I felt even more comfortable on (NWR) ODWC controlled land on a controlled hunt.

The Ms. November isn't that life-like. I think a punk-as# poacher could tell that it wasn't a live deer even from 500 yards.

Not too much. My in-laws property has some open country to it and you can see a ways off. Also, we usually set the decoy up in a draw or side of a hill where no body can see it easily, except for the deer.

I'm not worried about it either. Where I set it, it can't be seen from any roads.
