If I had a single favorite gun, it might be my 1911, and I never even thougth about getting one until about a year ago. My 1911 does bring me happy thoughts.

I have tried to post the pics of my baby since Honeybee reblued her ... Can't get them to work ... never said I was any good at this computer stuff.
But she is pretty ...
I need to find a Gold Cup for GC one of these days ...
Aside from the trigger, for ME, it's primarily the idea of extreme durability of an all-steel gun (I prefer all-steel 1911s). Something I can shoot 20,000 rounds through if I want, and STILL hand it off to my kids, and they can do the same!
But it's mainly the nice trigger. And the history/nostalgia.
