Why won't it fit ? ? ? ?

Okay, admittedly I'm not an AR guru. BUT..... my daughter bought me a Havoc 37mm launcher for my ar and it will NOT fit my quad rail. Too tight of a fit. I might be able to beat the silly thing on, but it shouldn't come to that.

What am I doing wrong? ? ?

First question: who made your rail? If it sin't milspec, I would suspect that's the problem. Also, if the rail has a paint/park finish, instead of hard coat anodize, that will oversize the dimensions.

Can you tell us what brand of rail? And post up some pics of attachment point on the havoc and some pics of where it's tight on the rail.

I want to see the launcher.

You may or may not have done this, but there are allen screws on the Launcher that have to be loosened off before you slide it on the rail.

The title of this thread reminds me of the episode of "Two and a Half Men" where Alan is faced with the daunting prospect of a colonoscopy and is discussing it with his brother Charlie. In the meantine, Berta, the housekeeper, is trying to unclog the drain in the kitchen sink. She's trying to shove a plumber's snake down the drain, and she grunts in between attempts:

"It - won't - fit!"

Alan, needless to say, isn't too thrilled to hear Berta's comments. Then a bit later, she throws up her hands and says,

"Oh great. Now it's stuck."
