Win model 70 gunsmiths?

Have a friend looking for a smith to rebarrel and do some work on a model 70. Hes trying to find a good one anybody know one?

These four are out of state but do great work on Winchesters and have outstanding reputations. GA Precision built my rifle on my Winchester action. Accuracy is outstanding and would be difficult to surpass. Your friend would speed up the process if he ordered all the parts necessary and take/mail rifle and parts to the smith.

I highly suggest calling/email numerous smiths and talking with them concerning the build before settling on one. He who is least expensive may not be the best or build with a guarantee/warranty. They can also give insight to barrels, bottom metal, stocks, etc.

I am going to see him next week, I will ask. He and I tinkered on one a while back, but maybe he has since gotten away from them.

It would be great if he does. When I built mine 4 years ago I emailed Jon and at that time he didn't build on Winchesters.
