Anyone know what the value is on this gun in 30-06? . It was passed down to me from my dad. I'm not interested in selling it, I'd just like to know what it is worth.

Need more info on stock, model, condition, pre-war or post.....

I sold a 1938 M-70 .375 H&H mag that had a tapped receiver  for $2,500 a few years ago on gunbroker.

I think I paid about $450 for the rifle originally.

Yep, condition matters.

With some additional details someone could look it up in the Blue Book, or you can do that yourself.

Very good and popular rifle.

The standard 30-06 was probably the most common version, but the lightweight was popular also.

Date of manufacture would be good to know, some variation depending on when it was built (pre-war, transition, post-transition).
