I am considering a 9mm in the xdm bit was hoping someone with experience with them could help me out!
When handeling them it seems that the texture and ridges on the grip and backstrap would chew up your hand. Is this the case or not? Any other opinions or advice about them would be appreciated! Thanks

I purchased the XDM 40 last year. I have large hands but my fingers are kind of skinny. For my G17 I put the hogue slip grip on and love it, feels way more comfortable to me. But back to the XDM, I cut a section of bicycle tire tubing, and slid it over the grip. It feels way better to me, I feel I have more control over it, like it "sticks" to my hands better.

I have an XDM in 40. I haven't had any discomfort with mine. I've put over 500 rounds through it without any pain.

I do have to admit though, to look at it, it looks pretty aggressive and abrasive.
