Growing up working on Dozers, Scrapers, Dump Trucks, Water Well Drilling Rigs, Semis, Big Farm Equip etc etc we used big bridge timbers for jacks/shoring. My grandpa did not believe in metal jack stands and such. I owned Dozers and Farm equip up into my 50s and I still used old bridge timbers when working on them. I/we used them to store the dozers on top of when not in use.

Big 6” to 10” wood is simply safe when working on **** that will kill you.
